Your complete guide to booking events and managing your account

Getting Started

Welcome! This guide will help you navigate the event booking system from start to finish. Whether you’re a first-time user or need a quick refresher, we’ve got you covered.

Before You Begin: You’ll need a valid email address to create an account and receive booking confirmations.

Finding Events

Browse All Events

Step 1: Click on “Events” in the navigation menu
Step 2: Browse through the list of available events
Step 3: Use filters to narrow down events by:
  • Date (Upcoming, Ongoing, Past)
  • Category (Sports, Arts, Education, etc.)
  • Age Group (Children, Adults, Family)
  • Search by keyword

Event Details

Click on any event to view complete details including:

  • Description: What the event is about
  • Date & Time: When the event takes place
  • Location: Where the event will be held
  • Price: Cost per attendee
  • Age Requirements: Who can attend
  • Available Spots: How many seats are left

Creating an Account

To book events, you need to create an account. Here’s how:

Step 1: Click “Login” in the navigation menu (if not already logged in)
Step 2: Click “Register” or “Create Account”
Step 3: Fill in your information:
  • Personal Information: First name, last name, email, phone
  • Address: Street address, city, province, postal code
  • Emergency Contact: Name and phone number
  • Password: Choose a secure password
Step 4: Add your children’s information:
  • First name, last name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Health notes (allergies, medical conditions, etc.)
Step 5: (Optional) Add a spouse/guardian
Step 6: Click “Register” to submit
Important: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

Email Verification

After registering, you’ll receive a verification email. This is an important security step.

Step 1: Check your email inbox for a verification email
Step 2: Click the verification link in the email
Step 3: You’ll be redirected back to the site with your account verified
Email Not Received?
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Wait a few minutes – emails can sometimes be delayed
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Contact support if you still don’t receive it
Note: You must verify your email before you can book any events.

Logging In

Once your account is verified, you can log in anytime:

Step 1: Click “Login” in the navigation menu
Step 2: Enter your email address and password
Step 3: Click “Login”

Forgot Password?

If you forgot your password:

  1. Click “Forgot Password?” on the login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for password reset instructions
  4. Click the reset link and create a new password

Booking an Event

Ready to book an event? Here’s the complete process:

Step 1: Find the event you want (see “Finding Events” above)
Step 2: Click “Book Now” or “Register” on the event details page
Step 3: Select which children to register:
  • Check the boxes next to the children you want to register
  • You can select multiple children for the same event
Step 4: Review event details and pricing
Step 5: (Optional) Apply a promo code if you have one
Step 6: Review the total cost
Step 7: Choose payment method (if applicable)
Step 8: Agree to cancellation policy and terms
Step 9: Click “Complete Booking”
Success! You’ll receive a confirmation email with your booking details and ticket(s).

Managing My Bookings

Access all your bookings from the “My Bookings” page:

To Access: Click “My Bookings” in the navigation menu

What You Can Do:

  • View All Bookings: See a complete list of past and upcoming bookings
  • View Details: Click “View Details” to see full booking information
  • Download Ticket: Get a PDF ticket for each booking
  • Email Ticket: Send the ticket to your email
  • Cancel Booking: Cancel if needed (subject to cancellation policy)
  • Check Status: See if booking is Confirmed, Pending, or Cancelled

Booking Status Meanings:

  • Confirmed: Your booking is confirmed and active
  • Pending: Awaiting payment or admin confirmation
  • Cancelled: Booking has been cancelled
  • Completed: Event has already taken place
Cancellation Policy: Review the cancellation policy before booking. Cancellations may be subject to fees or restrictions based on timing.

My Profile

Manage your account information from the “My Profile” page:

To Access: Click “My Profile” in the navigation menu

What You Can Update:

Personal Information:

  • Name, email, phone number
  • Address and contact details
  • Emergency contact information
  • Password

Children Information:

  • Add new children
  • Edit existing children’s details
  • Update health notes and allergies
  • Remove children from your profile

Spouse/Guardian:

  • Add or update spouse/guardian information
  • Edit contact details
Keep It Updated: Make sure your contact information and children’s details are always up to date for smooth event bookings.

Messages

Communicate with event organizers through the messaging system:

To Access: Click “Messages” in the navigation menu

How to Use Messages:

Step 1: Select a booking from the sidebar
Step 2: View the conversation history
Step 3: Type your message in the text box
Step 4: Click “Send Message”

Message Features:

  • Unread Count: See how many unread messages you have (badge on Messages icon)
  • Booking Context: Each conversation is linked to a specific booking
  • Admin Responses: Get replies from event organizers
  • Message History: View complete conversation history
Quick Communication: Use messages to ask questions about events, request changes, or get support from organizers.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions:

Can’t Login

  • Make sure your email is verified (check your inbox)
  • Double-check your password (case-sensitive)
  • Use “Forgot Password” if needed
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

Didn’t Receive Verification Email

  • Check spam/junk folder
  • Wait 5-10 minutes for delivery
  • Verify you entered the correct email address
  • Try registering again with the correct email

Booking Not Showing Up

  • Refresh the “My Bookings” page
  • Check your email for confirmation
  • Make sure you completed the booking process
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Can’t Cancel Booking

  • Check the cancellation policy (may have passed deadline)
  • Make sure the event hasn’t already occurred
  • Contact admin if you need special assistance

Profile Updates Not Saving

  • Make sure all required fields are filled
  • Check for error messages on the form
  • Try logging out and back in
  • Use a different browser if the issue continues

Payment Issues

  • Verify your payment information is correct
  • Check if your payment method is accepted
  • Try a different payment method
  • Contact support for payment-related help
